The Savage is a low cost, low profit margin bike so the dealer probably has less room to negogiate than with bigger more expensive bikes. Try to find a left over from 2000 or even 1999. That would be the best deal for you. I don't think you will have much luck in the middle of summer going below MSRP. Maybe in the fall you may be able to save a couple of hundred dollars.
